How does ZenFunds handle federal and bank holidays and weekends?

ZenFunds observes all U.S. federal and bank holidays. On these days, banks don’t process deposits which may delay direct deposits until the next business day. In addition, ZenFunds doesn’t process or post direct deposits on weekends.

When will my direct deposit post if I’m set to receive it on a federal bank holiday or weekend?

ZenFunds doesn’t process or post direct deposits on federal bank holidays and only processes direct deposits on weekdays. If it’s Saturday, Sunday, or a federal bank holiday, and you’ve yet to receive your direct deposit, wait until the following business day to see if it posts then.

In addition, federal bank holidays that fall on Saturday are observed on the preceding Friday, and those that fall on Sunday are observed on the following Monday. 

If you’re expecting to receive a deposit on the Friday when a federal bank holiday is observed, it’ll post on the following Monday. 

If you’re expecting to receive a deposit on the Monday when a federal bank holiday is observed, it’ll post on the following Tuesday.
